The short version
- We store what we need to run your account and your maps, on our servers.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- Your maps are private to your account unless you choose to share one on Explore.
- You can download your maps anytime and ask us to delete everything.
What we collect
- Account details: your email, an optional display name, and your password, stored only as a salted hash.
- Your content: maps, blocks, markers, renders, thumbnails, sketches, reference pictures and exported files you create.
- Builds you share: the frozen copy, its title, description, tags and pictures, and your display name are public. We strip location and camera data (EXIF/GPS) and other hidden text from pictures you upload. We also store likes and reports, linked to the account that made them.
- API keys: stored only as hashes. We show a key in full once, when you create it.
- Usage: counts such as maps, storage and AI tool calls per day, used to apply plan limits, plus basic server logs (IP address, time, request) for security and debugging.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We keep your plan, subscription status and a Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your card number.
We don't receive your conversations with your AI. The MCP only sends us the tool calls it makes, such as "fill this box with stone bricks".
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on our servers and with the providers we use to run the service (hosting and Stripe for payments). They process it only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete a map it's removed from your account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, maps and keys, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
Your choices
- Download any map from your account page.
- Delete maps and revoke API keys yourself, anytime.
- Account deletion on request: email support@moxel.gg from your account's address.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or to correct it, the same way.
Children
The service isn't directed at children under 13, and they shouldn't create an account without a parent or guardian.
